1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit it. They allow the website to "remember" your actions and preferences — for example, your login session, shopping cart, or chosen language — for a certain period, so you don't have to re-enter them on every page.
Cookies can be:
- session cookies — automatically deleted when you close your browser;
- persistent cookies — remain on your device until the indicated duration expires or until you delete them;
- first-party cookies — set by acoperispentrufiecare.md;
- third-party cookies — set by other companies (e.g., Google) when their services are integrated into the site.
We also use similar browser storage technologies: sessionStorage (information remains only in your browser and is deleted when the tab is closed) and localStorage (information is kept until deleted). In localStorage, we save the AI visualizer device identifier (roof-visualizer-device-token, functional category) — this is created only if you have allowed functional cookies and is automatically deleted upon withdrawal of consent.
2. Legal basis
We inform you about cookies under Art. 116 para. (5)–(6) of the Law on Electronic Communications no. 72/2025: storing information or accessing information already stored in the user's terminal equipment is permitted only with clear and complete information provided to the user regarding the purposes of processing. Only technical storage strictly necessary for providing the expressly requested service does not require your consent.
For cookies that are not strictly necessary (functional, analytical and marketing), we ask for your consent under the conditions of personal data protection legislation (Law no. 133/2011; from 23.08.2026 — Law no. 195/2024, including Art. 7 regarding proof of consent). Consent is granted via the cookie banner, is recorded (date, choice made, policy version), and can be withdrawn at any time, just as easily as it was granted — via the "Cookie Settings" button in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of processing carried out until that moment.
3. Categories of cookies on this site

Other storage technologies (not cookies): the product catalog uses sessionStorage for temporary technical data (e.g., filter and navigation state). Information remains exclusively in your browser, is not transmitted to the server, and is automatically deleted when the tab is closed. Does not require consent.
5. Google Tag Manager, analytics and advertising tools, Consent Mode
The site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) — a container through which measurement and advertising tools are loaded. The container itself collects no data about you: it loads only those tools for which you gave consent in the cookie banner.
With consent for the "Analytical" category, the following is loaded:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) — site usage statistics: pages viewed, visit source, device type and usage events (e.g., tapping the phone number, adding to cart, submitting an order or a quote request — without your name, phone number or e-mail).
With consent for the "Marketing" category, the following tools may be loaded:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) — measures actions on the site that originate from Facebook and Instagram ads and makes it possible to show ads to people who visited the site (remarketing);
- TikTok Pixel (TikTok Technology Limited) — the same purposes for TikTok ads;
- Google Ads — remarketing and conversion measurement for Google campaigns, as well as the Google Signals feature of Google Analytics: it allows Google to link your visits to your Google account (if you are signed in and have allowed ad personalisation in your account settings), in order to recognise the same user across devices and to provide us with aggregated data on age, gender and interests. Aggregated data does not allow us to identify you.
These tools are activated in the Google Tag Manager container as the corresponding advertising campaigns are launched. Regardless of when they are activated, none of them loads or receives data about you without your consent for the "Marketing" category.
The tools in the "Marketing" category involve advertising profiles created by the providers listed above. You may object at any time by withdrawing consent for this category (see section 6). No automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you, or similarly significantly affecting you, are taken on this basis.
The following rules apply:
- the Google Tag Manager container does not load at all until you have allowed at least one of the "Analytical" or "Marketing" categories;
- we use Google Consent Mode v2 with the default setting "denied" for all measurement and advertising purposes; permissions are raised separately, according to your choice: "Analytical" enables only
analytics_storage, while "Marketing" enablesad_storage,ad_user_dataandad_personalization; - consent is recorded and can be withdrawn at any time from "Cookie Settings"; upon withdrawal we delete the cookies of the withdrawn category from your browser;
- data collected through these tools may be transferred to Google LLC (USA), Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA) and TikTok Inc. (USA, Singapore); transfers take place based on contractual guarantees — EU standard contractual clauses (EU SCCs) included in these providers' data processing terms;
- Google Analytics 4 does not record the full IP address of visitors.
If we add other tools to the container, we will first update this policy and ask for your consent again via the banner.
6. How to change your choice
- "Cookie Settings" button in the footer of any page — you can always activate or deactivate the "Functional", "Analytical" and "Marketing" categories or withdraw your consent. The choice applies immediately.
- Browser settings — any browser allows blocking or deleting cookies ("Privacy"/"Cookies" section in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge settings, etc.). Attention: blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality (login, shopping cart, form submission).
- Deleting cookies from the browser also deletes the saved choice — on the next visit, the banner will be displayed again.
7. Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy when the cookies used or legal requirements change; the version and publication date are indicated at the top of the page. Significant changes (e.g., adding new analytics tools) will be announced by re-displaying the consent banner.
